They are predicting that the robotics toy ZhuZhu Hamster will be a sold-out item for Christmas 2009. They have already been proven to be difficult to keep on the shelves. WalMart and Target have both been sold out for weeks now.

I remember these from when I was a kid, although this commercial was a bit before my time (about 1964).
The classic Rock’em Sock’em Robots. Who wouldn’t like to knock the block off another robot? I guess this is a prehistory of the BattleBots and RobotWars mania. Maybe a little tamer, but a lot cheaper to get started!
